This year, 2025, we proudly participated in several cultural events showcasing the richness of Cuban heritage.
In July, Chef García Cocina Cubana delighted attendees at the Latin Hispanic Cultural Festival “Vino y Ron” held at the University of Mexico (UNAM) in downtown San Antonio. Hazel Santos added a vibrant touch with her festive balloon decorations featuring the flags of various Latin American countries.

In September, we joined the “Around the World” event sponsored by the World Affairs Council of San Antonio. Claudia Samalea, Hazel Santos, and Ruben Soto represented Cuba, offering guests authentic Cuban coffee and pastries from La Cubanita Bakery.

In October, we participated in the 7th Annual Hispanic Trails Festival at Wonderland of the Americas Mall. Chef García served traditional Cuban dishes, Habanart Art offered their unique on-the-spot printed T-shirts, and Alma Cubana filled the air with lively Cuban music that had everyone dancing.
